  • Food Pantry - Feeding the Community

    First Methodist Church operates a monthly food basket ministry for over 30 families.  The monthly distribution helps families with canned meats, vegetables, flour, sugar, and other needed supplies.  Many families rely on these meals as their only source of food or must decide between paying their rent or buying medicine before budgeting for food.


    In addition, FMC helps many different types of people, such as veterans, seniors, the working poor, homeless and low-income residents  who walk in and need food to survive till the next paycheck or to subsidize food stamps.

  • PDAP

    Connect with others joining together to solve problems associated with substance use disorders. The Palmer Drug Abuse Program of Lea County (PDAP) is a non-profit organization, focused on providing free services to both individuals and families affected by substance abuse. www.pdaphobbs.com

  • Andrew & Lauren Leong--cru in Northern Colorado

    Connect with  a ministry with a focus to build and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples out into the world. CRU has movements in all segments of the world so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. Their values are Faith, Growth and Fruitfulness.     Connect with a nonprofit organization providing aid and resources to underprivileged persons in an effort to rehabilitate their environment and create sustainability. oneloveworldwide.org

    Connect with others serving a  campus ministry of the Methodist Church at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM.  WH strives to be a home away from home for students that want a place to explore and challenge their spirituality and relationship to God.
